project
Running a business is almost impossible if you don’t know what your customers need. Artifact centralises qualitative data to enable business owners to understand what is important to their customers.
The client was impressed with our initial storyboard, so we decided to create a more detailed version to better represent the flowing transitions before we began animating.
After showing the client our more detailed storyboard, we went on to create style frames to insert into the storyboard. This enabled us to display the movement of colours to the client.

Artifact knew that their data-driven approach was powerful, but they needed to communicate it clearly and concisely. Our mission was to create a video that:

To achieve this, we focused heavily on transitions and movement, ensuring the flow of data was reflected in the flow of the animation.

Our initial storyboard immediately resonated with the Artifact team. But rather than jumping straight into animation, we took it a step further—developing a more detailed version to refine the flow and transitions before production began.
This extra step:
- Gave the client a clearer vision of the final piece
- Allowed us to fine-tune movement and pacing early on
- Ensured a smooth transition into the next stages of production

Once the storyboard was locked, we developed style frames—introducing:
🎨 A refined colour palette to enhance clarity and engagement
🌊 Smooth, flowing transitions that mirrored the seamless nature of Artifact’s platform
📈 Crisp, modern visuals that reinforced Artifact’s cutting-edge approach
By inserting these style frames directly into the storyboard, we provided the client with a preview of how the colours and transitions would come to life—before we even started animating.
