Road Safety. It’s vital. It’s essential. And increasingly, it’s disregarded. So the QLD government decided it was time to try a new approach. They worked with the awesome agency Type + Pixel to develop the concepts and craft this idea.
We got brought in to bring it all to life and had a blast doing it.

Road Safety. It’s vital. It’s essential. And increasingly, it’s disregarded. So the QLD government decided it was time to try a new approach. Alongside Type + Pixel, they decided it was time for a bold new approach. One that would cut through the noise and make people pay attention.
That’s where we came in. Our job? Bring their vision to life in a way that would stick with audiences long after they watched it.

The challenge was clear: How do we make people actually care? The usual shock tactics were overdone, and a softer approach risked being ignored. The sweet spot was something fresh, engaging, and unexpected.
Working with Type + Pixel, we focused on developing a concept that was clear, simple, and effective. We leaned into behavioural psychology to understand how audiences process road safety messaging and worked to strike the perfect balance between attention grabbing and thought provoking.

Type + Pixel crafted the concept, and we helped translate it into motion. Our goal was to amplify the creative vision and ensure it came to life in the most engaging way possible. Every element needed to visually hook the audience while making the core message impossible to miss.
We experimented with different narrative techniques, visual metaphors, and pacing to create something that was compelling, memorable, and impactful.

Bringing the concept to life required a dynamic, high energy approach. We developed bold, striking visuals that grabbed attention instantly, paired with sharp transitions and motion graphics to reinforce key messages.
The modern, polished aesthetic ensured a high impact delivery, making sure that every frame, colour choice, and movement supported the overall message and drove home the importance of road safety.

To make sure the campaign landed perfectly, we fine tuned every detail. We adjusted the visual pacing to keep engagement levels high, refined the messaging to ensure clarity, and made stylistic tweaks to enhance emotional impact.
The result was a video that felt fresh, exciting, and impossible to ignore.

Once launched, the campaign turned heads and helped reframe the conversation around road safety. It was a visually compelling, high energy piece that grabbed attention and stood out from traditional road safety campaigns.
Most importantly, if it made even one person think twice before making a reckless decision, then it was worth every moment spent bringing it to life.
