ZipPay exists to make these surprises less stressful by offering long term, Interest-Free repayment plans that help people manage their finances without the burden of high upfront costs. They wanted a short, engaging video that conveyed this message in a relatable and reassuring way.

Discovery & Strategy

The key challenge was to create an animation that:

- Highlighted the stress of unexpected expenses in a way audiences could immediately connect with.
- Positioned ZipPay as the simple, stress-free solution.
- Maintained an upbeat and positive tone, avoiding the heaviness often associated with financial worries.

We focused on a lighthearted, empowering approach, reinforcing the idea that ZipPay helps people take control and move forward.

Concept Development

Taking inspiration from Donna Summer’s classic “She Works Hard for the Money”, we leaned into a playful, energetic narrative that

- Illustrated the moment of financial stress - a character facing an unexpected expense.
- Seamlessly transitioned to the ZipPay solution, showing how easy it is to regain control.
- Used dynamic visuals and motion to keep the energy high and the messaging clear.

The concept revolved around the idea that unexpected expenses shouldn’t stop you from living your life. ZipPay helps you handle the moment and move on.

Visual Design

To create a bold, engaging aesthetic, we used:

- Bright, vibrant colours to match ZipPay’s brand identity.
- Expressive character animation to show the transformation from stress to relief.
- Smooth, dynamic transitions to reflect the ease of using ZipPay.

The visuals reinforced the confidence and peace of mind that comes with having a smart financial solution at your fingertips.

Testing & Refinement

We worked closely with ZipPay to fine tune the animation, ensuring that:

- The messaging was clear and easy to grasp in seconds.
- The tone stayed light and positive, avoiding any unnecessary stress.
- The CTA was direct and compelling, encouraging viewers to explore ZipPay.
